Variety Club Classic 911S at traffic lights - 1

Geez... Nice photo. Looks like he's about to embark on the Paris-Dakar rally! (Was this for some event, or is this just how the guy rolls around hehe?)

Bit of both. The Variety Club is a charity which raises money for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children. The Variety Club Bash, for which this car is set up, is an annual rally through the toughest parts (note I didn't say 'roads' because often there aren't any) of Australia to raise money. Judges, scrutineers, police, well anyone really, are bribed. All money raised goes to the charity. I'm not sure of the regs, but I've only ever seen old cars entered. Old Holdens, Fords, Hillmans, Rovers, Chryslers, Citroens, VeeDubs...whatever really. Never seen a 911 in it though. Over the years they've raised millions of dollars.

Cool. very interesting. And it sounds like a lot of fun for the entrants.
