Hi!  First off my real name is Anthony Carbone and I am one of the co-founders of MadWhips.com and CarZi.com!

I always wanted to be a rocket scientist, however due to a lust for life, I fell a couple courses shy and ended up having to settle with a Systems & Computing Engineering degree from the University of Guelph. 

I am currently headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and since MadWhips.com launch (November 1, 2007) this .com entrepreneurial adventure has given me the opportunity to attend and cover all the hottest auto events around the globe. MadWhips is home to a number of internet exclusive automotive photo galleries submitted from around the world by it's members and me. On March 19th, 2010 MadWhips.com successfully migrated to the Amazon Cloud!

The most memorable cars that I have photographed are: Porsche Gemballa Mirage GT (Toronto, Canada), Nissan GT-R Spec V (Tokyo, Japan), Audi R8 LMS GT3 (Essen, Germany), Ferrari FXX Evoluzione (Montreal, Canada), Lamborghini Reventon during an Ash Sunset (Monterey, California, USA), Brett David's Famous Sharpie Lamborghini Gallardo (Palm Beach, Florida, USA), Knight XV (Las Vegas, USA) and Paris Hiltons Pink Bentley Continental GT (Las Vegas, USA).

My first automotive magazine debut in La Vita Lamborghini was attained by my coverage of the 2009 Supercar Weekend in Palm Beach Florida.

Thanks to MadWhips custom architecture (built by the founders of ProductWiki.com recently mentioned on the GoogleBlog for their sites architecture - which also means ours) many of our photo galleries are ranked within the top 3 search results for many top automotive search terms.

MadWhips photo albums are regularly cited and sourced for many articles use by top publications on the web such as AutoBlog.com, Jalopnik.com, TotalProSports.com and Wired.com!

I recently retired my first car which had 350,000+ kms. Although old and weathered, my 1993 Honda Prelude SR-V was still as fun to drive and beat on as it was the first day I got it! I recently bought a 2003 Subaru WRX which currently (IMHO) is the best bang for your buck and I guarantee it will turn your life into a 365 day rally :P 997 C4S in 2012?????

Hi Anthony, Thanks for your offer, I know that Vinay is busy and I never hassle him about uploads. But I appreciate your idea, can I resend the last few albums' pictures to you, or will you ask Vinay to forward them to you? I got some very nice pics of a 458 yesterday, I'm amazed at the quality of shots that iPhone can produce. It's winter down here, so we're enduring beautiful clear but cool days of between 60 & 65 degrees F. Very pleasant. Sydney's climate is really quite benign all year, but in the middle of summer it can get up to about 115 degrees, sometimes for many days in succession. That gets old quickly. Thanks again,Mark.

Thanks WD. Yes very interesting to see 458 wheels on the Scuderia and 16M, they must be special order from the factory. Ferrari Club Victoria have a regular concourse every year and many drive days and meetings. This show was for one of the country communities effected by the bush fires earlier in the year. It was a great turn out considering it's 100km from Melbourne. My dad and I were members of FCV when he had a Ferrari. One day I would like to join up again.

Anthony, great shoots of my 993rs on hwy 1 last month. You yelled out the window something "whips.com" and after only Porno sites I just found the hotos of my car. I'm impresses you knew what it was, most have never heard of a 993rs. Someone commented the car came from Canada, none were ever sold there and only 4 USA examples exist that have been imported from Europe. Thanks for the great shots. Jeff

This truck is a 1946 Fargo Panel truck, which has been entirely rebuilt from the ground up with the body left intact, no chop & no cut. The build was done by Maurice's Hot Rods out of Breslau Ont.

Anthony, I like your idea for the site. I'm also really big in exotic cars. But I need to say something about the quality of your pics. The angles that you take your pics from and the lighting play a big factor into the quality of your start-up exotic and modified car photo-sharing web site. It is very clear that your standing around the car taking quick boring pictures. Cars have many curves and angles use them. Compare cars to women, when you take a picture of the rim it’s the equivalent to taking a picture of an ankle. Recommendation: take a semester in a photography class and use it for the experience , not the grade.

my first reactions to the new sti was that it resembled the ford lights to much...it still does haha haven't spotted much stuff eh whipdaddy? I'm still in the process of uploading my old spottings, but haven't had much time. Midterms and the fact that I can only upload when I'm at home and I'm always at a library.

Dear Anthony, it would be great if you could post JordanCars.Net on CarZi.com (which is also one of my favorite automotive websites) I do have a lot of friends with great cars… also my brother in law is Jordan’s speed test champion ;) you should visit us here in Amman you have some serious crazy tuned cars ;) About madwhips.com it’s an amazing website, I think it’s unbelievably easy to use :) But the only thing I couldn’t figure it out is how to delete an album??? Hey Whipdaddy, just an idea for the website, would be good if it was easier to delete pics or add pics to personal albums, sometimes when you want to go back you can't because the pics are already locked in. Or maybe I am missing something....
