I have less than nice things to say about TransGlobe. When they purchased and took over an apartment building that I lived in while attending the University of Guelph it was one of the biggest pains in my ass at the time. I remember them trying to screw the tenants of the building out of their 'last months' rental deposit which would have been paid upon moving into those apartments. If you didn't have proof that you paid last months rent they were willing to take hostile measures to report you to the credit bureau as well as make you pay your last month's rent again. They did not take the legal lease which was signed and indicated that first and last month's rent was received. They made you prove via bank statements that you had paid before they left you alone. This morning going to work, some asshole driving one of these company cars almost took out a civic because instead of turning left onto Derry from the lights at Argentia, he decided to go straight through the lights merging into the other lane without signaling in the middle of an intersection!
