Subaru Impreza S204 - 14

Yep SUPER looking STi. This is the best looking front clip of that gen, and the details of the S204 are very slick. Really like the lip, mirrors and wings. Very awesome spot. Just classic.

Didn't even notice those mirrors! Are they a brushed aluminum finish? I also agree w.r.t. the front clip on this gen.

The mirrors still have plastic housings.. just with the aluminum finish around the plastic. I LOOOVE that original Audi Quattro from the early 80s. That car looks very familiar LOL The car is #318/600 as you can probably tell from my username. The car is the only original road registered S204 in Australia and was brought in as a personal import. The mirrors are actually just a standard silver mirror as you will see on the silver S204's they are no different form the cars paint colour. If anyone wants any more info don't hesitate to ask. Oh and current STi models have nothing on this as a recent dyno session has proved : )

WOW - This is fantastic and a real honour to have you here discussing your own car, S204-318. Would love to hear any more details / stories on your one of a kind (in Oz) car. How did you end up choosing / getting this car? What are your plans with it ? (keep it stock/ keep it for a long time?) And, how about all the details on the dyno sessions of this car vs. the 2008+ versions.

Hi guys, I have done a AFR check on the dyno and it runs completely fine on our 98RON fuel. The dyno results also netted a result of 202.9KW and 440.3NM both ATW, were as a 08 STi only made 170KW ATW just minutes before. I have just installed a custom twwinscroll dump and centre pipe to join to the STi titanium muffler and it now sounds like a WRC car. Im getting an Autronics SM4 PNP installed and tuned this week and we are aiming for a safe tune with numbers of 220-230kw and 500NM ATW which will make the car even more enjoyable. Forgot to add the minor brake upgrade I've done. I've added some Dixcel FCR slotted and heat treated front rotors on with some Acre Super Fighter pads aswell for some greater stopping power.

New tuned netted 221.4kw and 498.5nm at the wheels, very happy with the results.

Very nice results S204. 221 kw is around 300 hp at the wheels. So probably getting near 400 hp at the crank? Great numbers.

Is it possible for madwhips to put their own watermarks on the pics, I've just found the main pic of my car has been used in eBay ads in the US. :(

It's easily one of the best cars I've driven. It was the company car a mate of mine who worked at Subaru Australia. He described it as a $100,000 drivetrain in a $20,000 car, but I was was very impressed.
