Special Blue LP560 one off - 6

I thought Gallardos looked good in yellow. This looks wonderful in this colour. Riveria Blue maybe. Gulf Blue? Strange how this colour, which isn't a particularly 'tough' colour, suits hot cars. 997 GT3s, ruf turbos, this Gallardo look good in this colour. But I can't see it suiting an F430 or a big sedan like a 7 Series, a Quattroporte or a Phantom. Strange, innit?

I fully agree mate - I think it sort of marks a car out as something a bit special. Maybe it's because I associate lurid, non-metallic colours with motorsports and road-racer special editions. Like how a Riviera Blue GT3 will always look and feel a bit more special and a bit more like a one-off than, say, a black GT3. Haha I now have an image of an eggshell-blue RR Phantom in my head...possibly the vehicle in the least good taste ever??! And whoever ordered that Aston V8 in tanning-salon-assistant bronze should be taken outside and beaten, severely.

This special color is called Celeste Cepheus (sky blue).
