1987 Porsche 928 S 4 coupe finished in black metallic with a black all leather interior purchased by Roger Clemens after being awarded the MVP designation and his first Cy Young award. Clemens exported the car in 1996 back to Germany where it was modified by Strosek where it affixed with a new Strosek body with flared fenders, frenched head lamps, hood louvers, and OZ customs wheels out fitted with 24" wide tires to the rear and 18" to the front. The car also had a special $22500 sound system installed. In October of 2001 Roger Clemens donated the car to the 9/11 Charity Auction to aid victims of the tragedy. The car later sold again at Barrett- Jackson Auction in Palm Beach, Florida and proceeded to perform an entire " refreshing " including : the rims, tires, battery ,electrical switched and fittings, all new hoses, all seals and gaskets, R 12 a / c upgrade. The car is nicely optioned with power seat package, automatic transmission, power docks locks, limited slip differential, electric sliding sunroof and a kickass 320 HP engine.

This car SOMEHOW ended up in Montgomery, AL. I saw it last night and can confirm it's the same one as in the pictures above. I'm not sure HOW it ended up here, but I tried to get the guy to race it in my 300zx and he just wouldn't do it. Oh well. It's a nice @$$ car though!

Did it still have the 1986 CY Young, MVP on the tail? How did you know it was Roger Clemens Porsche when you saw it? Is your 300ZX stock?

Hi, I can confirm that this car is in Montgomery. I saw it parked yesterday. It still has the Cy Young MVP on the tail and has Roger Clemens signature on the door. It is gray metallic, not black. I have an 89 928 S4 and prefer the stock look, but this is certainly an interesting car.
