I didn't know they sold Renaults in Oz?! Or was it imported? I know you guys get Peugeots. This is lovely, but 182 Cup F1? Maybe an Oz only moniker - there's no F1 in Europe. I have now been inspired to get some pictures of my Trophy up on here - it used to be this colour but I bought it after a jealous ex girlfriend had paint-strippered it! It's the only black Clio Trophy in the world now! Pics to follow..

Right, I'm creating an album at the moment from the most recent World Series by Renault at Silverstone - they had absolutely everything important there all in one place! One of the highlights was famous rally driver and Renault legend Jean Ragnotti taking a 5 Turbo Maxi (mid-engined) for some seriously sideways laps! We could smell burning rubber (and clutch!) from over 100 metres away! When a marshall came out to call him in (i think he did about 6 too many laps), Jean proceeded to doughnut around the marshall for ages - we saw sparks from the shredded rear tyres! Good times. I've also just found out that my Trophy was a special order - apparently they were all red, but you could pay Renault a chunk of cash and have any Clio 182 colour. So mine was bought blue, then paint-strippered by the aforementioned ex-girlfriend, then bought by me and re-sprayed black. If I go to track days in it, people don't believe it's a genuine Trophy until I show them the front suspension and log-book haha. I'll get those pics up in the next couple of days - when I get a moment.
