Porsche 993RS replica at Mt Panorama circuit Bathurst Australia - 5

Album details

Capture Date: Apr. 5, 2010
City: Bathurst Australia
Event: Festival of Sports Cars

The 993RS is one of the most revered of all the 911 variants. It has the largest engine ever fitted to a 911, at 3.8 litres. That may not sound like much, but a stripped-out interior, aluminium doors and bonnet, lightweight components & 300 BHP all come together to form a truly special car. A real one looks like this http://www.madwhips.com/porsche-993-carrera-rs-is-the-perfect-car/ although this one has the Clubsport front & rear spoilers. The replica above was racing at Mt Panorama circuit Bathurst Australia over the Easter weekend. Replica or not, it looks great.

Mmmmm... 993! About a third of the price of a real one too. Nice

Same down here. A 993 is anywhere from 85 - 110 grand. The last 993 RS I heard of changing hands went for $260k.
