Not mandatory, the script was a delete option. Most of the replicas have the script however. As I like to say, "Of the 1580 2.7 RSs made, there are only 10,000 left."

Not necessarily. It's very hard to tell without checking the chassis number. But even that doesn't guarantee it. A mate of mine here in Oz has a 2.7RS. There's another one in Italy with the same chassis number. The one here has been verified as the real one. That sort of thing is not unusual.
