What does an original go for and how many were built? What a beautiful Porsche... By the looks of the cool cars you submit I think Vinay and I are going to have to come to the Sydney Motor Show and visit you Oliver!

That would be great, I'd love to meet you guys. Unfortunately, there isn't going to be one this year. There was great controversy last year, many of the major marques didn't attend Sydney because of the cost of renting display space for the show. And that was before the financial crisis really really bit. From now on the shows will alternate annually between Sydney & Melbourne. Which is a bit of a bugger, really. There were only about 70 original 550s built, and there are fewer than that now, when you consider that James Dean died in his. They change hands for huge money now.
