The Pantera was designed by Tom Tjaarda, who also did the Fiat 124 Spyder, the Ferrari 365 California Spyder (the original one, not the current one), the Type 3 Karmann-Ghia, the De Tomaso Deauville among others. I think the Pantera is one of the all-time great looking cars, but I don't want to own one. The red one here is a GTS - introduced in 1974 - and what a wicked looking thing it is, all flares, wings and wheels. Though these wheels aren't original. It sounded just wonderful as it left, sounded as if it didn't have any mufflers. Great. The white one is a Pantera SI, and they were produced from 1990 to 1993. Only 41 were built. According to http://www.qv500.com/detomasopanterasip1.php only two were built in right hand drive. This could be one of them, although it could be a local conversion. The number plate suggests that it could a 1991 model. Love the red one's test driver!

I've always loved Panteras too mate. All drama and noise - the things that used to sell supercars. Not sure about the seats in the GTS, they look like you could just fall right out of them round a pretty gentle corner!
