City: Sydney Australia
Event: Australian GT Championship Eastern Creek

This is one of the exotics that compete in the Australian GT Championship. It runs against 2 of the only 15 Porsche GT3 Cup S racers ever built, Aston Martin DB9, Lotus Exiges, Vipers, Vettes, Gallardos, Maserati Trofeo, R35 GT-R, Ferrari 360s. It's a national series and is held at circuits all over the country. I don't know how many Moslers are in the country now, but there were 2 running at the Bathurst 24 hour races in 2002 & 2003. This could now be the only one.

There was one of these in a Porsche showroom in the sleepy village of Burwash here in Southern England - bright metallic purple and all the more aweswome for it!

This is currently the best American car in production, IMHO. I had been looking forward to seeing one up close for years, and I finally got the chance to this January. Looks superb, and the build quality also looks excellent. It really is a fantastic car. I recall reading that George Lucas has a black one!

I wonder what those 2 little intake pipes in the hood are for? Cooling the front brakes?

Hmmm, don't think so. They're too small. The road cars don't have them.

Venting into the cockpit perhaps.

I suppose the added drag is insignificant.  I guess that must be a given seeing it is on a racecar.
