Cars used to have such great names : Cougar, Mustang, Corvette, Pantera, Cobra, Fury and so on. Pinto? Well, not always. Now what do we have? Sonata. Camry. Bluesport. Panamera? What the? As much as I like the car, the name is a letdown. It's taken me until now to get used to Boxster. But I think Mulsanne on a Bentley is perfectly appropriate. I saw this Cougar on the last day of my Monterey trip. I had a couple of days in San Francisco just poking around. It could be heard coming from two blocks away. I'd like to have taken some more pics, but the large intimidating black dude driving it made me think just a grab shot would have to do. Not my choice of wheels, I'd prefer period mags or at least the originals. I decided against suggesting this to the driver. Looks like it has a lot of coats of clear on it.
