I saw it too, though it was an E550 convertible. They say the E350 has sluggish acceleration, thus people are just opting for the more powerful 5.5L 382 HP V8 with 391 ft-lbs of torque.

Yes they are badged 550 in the US. Alot more dollars over the 350 but you get alot more performance!
