Saw this Trans Am today. I think it's a late 70's model. These are very thin on the ground down here so I'm not too familiar with them. To those younger readers who may not understand the car's number plate or the album title, I recommend the 1977 Burt Reynolds movie "Smokey and the Bandit." It's a bit of fun and very much of its time. And so much better than the ridiculous "Fast and the Furious" series. In Smokey the cars actually do what cars do. However the owner of this T/A seems to have missed the point. In the movie the Bandit drives the Trans Am and Smokey refers to the highway cops.
