All superlatives that describe not only the vehicles, but the experience of the one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Theatre at the '08 AutoShow. This was truly an incredible opportunity to view a world-class collection of the most breathtaking automobiles ever created.

From his humble roots as founder of a tractor factory in Bologna, Italy, Ferruccio Lamborghini built his brand into the most revered in the industry and along the way re-defined what was possible in high production super cars. A North American first, the Lamborghini Theatre puts you up close and personal with 15 remarkable vehicles, including:

  • The Silhouette - a very rare, special version, one of only 52 ever made
  • The Miura S - 1 of only 140 produced
  • The LM 002 (4x4) - 1 of only 301 produced and 1 of only 2 Canadian editions
  • The Countach 25th Anniversary Special Edition
  • The Diablo 30th Anniversary Special Edition - 1 of only 150 produced and 1 of only 4 in Canada

You know your Lamborghinis quite well Tariq. I didn't get a straight shot of the Silhouette, but it was the first red car parked on the other side of the Islero.

Vinay so glad you took these photos, I ran out of time at the AutoShow when I was there and made the mistake of not fully investigating the different areas I didn't realize it was going to be so huge and spread out across the convention center and the rogers skydome. Lesson learned to say the least.

it a great car huh. Btw how many Reventons were made? i am not sure cause i read in a mag tht only 20 reventon's were made.and one was sold to an UAE citizen.and they are gonna make more 50 of them.

The official press release states that only 20 will be built, but it is rumored that the total number could be 100.

It was just a random modified Lamborghini concept:

From Wikipedia: The Lamborghini Concept S is a concept car designed by Luc Donckerwolke, the head of Lamborghini design, using the Lamborghini Gallardo's floorplan. Shown at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. It was intended to be a modern interpretation of the single-seat roadsters of the past. Utilizing a 'saute-vent' (French for 'change wind') instead of a traditional windscreen, and dividing the interior into two distinct compartments by continuing the bodywork between the seats, which also serves as an air inlet feeding the mid-mounted 5L V10 engine, gives the car a distinctly futuristic look. This is also to increase aerodynamic efficiency. The rear view mirror is even electronically retractable to allow the driver to see behind, when necessary, or hide it when not in use. Though considered more of a styling exercise than a working production vehicle, the final working show car only had to be modified slightly from the original computer aided designs.
