Whereabouts in London was this? I used to live in South Kensington and used to see one of these around all the time... normally parked outside the posher restaurants and nightclubs. From your pics, it looks like it could well be in South Ken, maybe even the same car. I never knew what it was until now! Great find mate.

It was nere Sussex Gardens, just above Hyde Park. I first thought it was a Maserati actually but was surprised to see what it really was. Such a striking car to look at in real life.

Iso made some really great looking cars, very distinctive compared to contemporary Ferrari, Lambo, Maseratis. Not bad for the company that also made the Isetta bubble car. And refrigerators. Piero Rivolta's daughter is married to Andrea Zagato. Talk about an Italian exotic car dynasty.

I want an Iso fridge! I think Sussex Gardens is over in Westminster, all of half a mile from South Ken, so could well be the same one. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
