I own a 77 Corvette which I bought new in late fall 1976. I would never do anything like what has been done here.

I wonder if the hood ornaments make it go fast....

When I saw this story, I instantly thought of Corvette Summer. Frankly, I'd have to place this Vette above the Corvette Summer one in the worst Vette list. At least the CS one had mods to make it look more aggressive. Aggressive like a pimp, sure, but the one here in AB just looks sad.

I wonder what the painter said, when the owner said I want it to look like: "a bat-mobile on acid". I personally paint American Muscle Cars and if I was asked to do that, my reply: “not for all the tee in Boson Bay”! --Looks like a musician's car? After all who else would do such a thing? ATTN ALL READERS! I am a proud owner of a '78 corvette and I was born and raised in Guelph. Because of this man, I left Guelph and took my corvette with me! I know this car and its owner(not personally, just seen him around town). Unfortunately, this is not his first attempt at defacing such a car! He has done this to other vehicles that now belong on Misfit Island. This is a majority of TAPE! Yep, TAPE! I have seen this car up close, and it is all TAPE! I will say it once more, F#@KING TAPE! Im a 27 year old from england. I saw my first corvette when i was around 12. It was blood red and i thought it was the most amazing thing id ever seen. Been in love ever since. At the moment i dont own one as they're very expensive to buy over here and at my age the insurance would kill my bank account. But I love them a lot. But what the hell was this guy thinking? I hope the owner will read these comments and have a real deep think. Revert the car to a normal and spend future money on design school for christ sake!!!

The Corvette Gods have come to the rescue. This lovely rendition of someones personal taste has met it's end. Apparently it was parked next to a garage that caught fire. Needless to say it was badly burned along the passengers side and the car ended up at Kens Corvette Parts In the KW Ontario area and was chopped up for parts.

I have a '79. That car pictured isn't awesome and you don't have a vette I am sure of that. Use your head before you type. But............the car is interesting, and 'saved' from the junk heap. Actually looks 'cleaner' than allot of 70's vettes i have seen. He has bad taste but he has taste nevertheless.

either way this car made a lot of you have a reaction - i believe that is what the owner wanted & he had the time to do this - I say the owner of this is a winner on levels most of you will never comprehend... maybe just not in the automotive realm.

The same reaction could have been accomplished by severing a head of big elk or moose and mounting it with xmas lights on the roof of this vette ;) Thankfully for animals this owner decided to utilize what he could find at a dollar store to make his mark!
