Thanks kb! These photos were taken about 2 years ago. She now has over 305,000kms on her, and some classic wheel well rust starting to form. I hope I can squeeze out another year before getting my next car! I have a carbon fibre hood (mint condition, no holes drilled in it) if you know anyone in the GTA looking for one.

Wow 305,000kms, MY PRELUDE IS AT 303,000!! (with a full body restoration) I thought I had high kms! Is it original paint? Let me know how much you want for that carbon fiber hood. By the way, Id way rather have an Acura NSX then some silly Porsche!

As far as I know its original paint, however the from and rear clips have faded a bit, but no cracking or peeling so that is why I am assuming its mostly original paint. I am not sure what those hoods go for I remember paying $750 from performance world in Barrie. I would assume somewhere in the $300-400 range?? It fit perfectly on my lude (with minor adjustments on the front quarter panels when I had it installed for a week when I first got it. I ended up taking it off because I was getting pulled over by the FUZZ way to often.

I fully agree with you about the NSX... The main reason I have for wanting a Porsche 811 Tis because I could drive it in the winters here in Toronto and they make a sick reliable and very comfortable (and arguably) sensible daily driver..... the NSX however would be a pure summer car that would purely satisfy my love for Honda and the NSX technology that was and still is.. I also am deeply in LOVE with the rawness, hardcore'ness and balls out reliableness of the NSX.

BTW, how much for the chipped ECU, where did you get it done and how much does it change the ECU mapping? Is it a noticeable difference?

Are carbon fiber hoods illegal?

No carbon fiber hoods are not illegal, but a lowered bright red prelude with an exhaust and carbon fibre hood screams "pull me over", and I just got tired of looking at the cop and saying come on, im not some 18 y.o. punk asshole, so quite harassing me ;)

Haha I get it......... WhipDaddy Im just wondering you said u had to make minor adjustments to your front fenders for the hood to fit, what do you mean? Did u just have to move your front fenders aside a touch for the hood to close properly?

Oh and about the ECU, the previous owner installed it and all he told me was that it is about the equivalent of steriods for my h22a, and he is right. I have no idea how much it costs, I wish I knew......
