I was so surprised to see one. I have only seen 2 others on the road ever. I waved at the driver, and he rolled his window down and started talking to me. He was an older, very nice man. He seemed even more surprised that someone was recognizing his car. He said normally in Virginia people did not know about that car.

hahaha thats hilarious Erik.. Well he was an old dude, and he was really into cars. He had a bunch of cars, including an Orange Pantera.

This car looks immaculate, such an awesome shot (the first photo)! How many miles did it have and is the original owner?

It wasn't the original owner. The car had lots of miles, and the owner I met had just bought it less than a month prior. He had said he had been fascinated with that car for a long time, but he still didn't plan on keeping it for very long.

check out www.delorean.com the company has been revived, and now are building new deloreans from scratch and/or restoring old ones, interesting story behind all is. The should make a movie out of this "The DeLorean Story"
