Apologies for the rump-only pics, he turned off for petrol just after this. Also full photographer credit goes to my girlfriend, who kindly saved me from the wrath of the Driving-On-The-Phone Nazis that now populate England and took the pics.

Rapides could have been designed for the area I live in... lots of affluent London commuter families looking for a Range/Cayenne alternative.

Also in the last pic are an E36 M3 and a partial passing Porsche 996 GT3. Good work Kathryn.

So, whaddya think? Better looking than a QP, or just different to it? I won't mention the Panamera. Aaarrgghh, dammit!

I'd definitely have a Quattroporte and save £30k for an interesting track ready 911. In fact, screw the QP.

I thought it was a bit ungainly, like an independent tuner had stretched a DB9. It's something to do with the way the side windows cut off at the c-pillar (which you can't really see in these pics)... something's not quite right. Not sure you'd get a six-footer in the back either, which kind of defeats the object. Gei Tei Drei? Das ist über güd, danker danker.

Ai Carumba! German now? Haven't seen a Rapide out here yet but it always looked good in evo. Difficult job though, making a 4 door DB9. Porsche didn't do so well with a 4 door 997.

Rapide looks great, so sleek for a 4 door. I looked awesome at the GP when I saw it for the first time. There is a white one for sale in OZ, very nice! Very tough choice between this the QP and Panamera!
