That is VERY NICE. - Matching Ariel Atom and Murcie Roadster  (kit car) with Rims. Sweet Atom.

Got anymore pictures of the Lambo? If so, post.

That's sick, I have never seen that orange Murcie Roadster in TO, but I know you spotted this Ariel Atom in Toronto in Yorkville this summer. That Ariel has Massachusetts plates, so does it mean that the Murcie is a non TO/Ontario car as well?

Atom V8?? Or just the aero kit?? And why do they look like they're parked in the GHETTO?!

wait a sec...somthing is odd about that Murcie...looks like a KIT CAR...

what leads you to speculate the possibility of the Murcie being a kit car?

That is not a kit car!

YEP Full Kit car. Very Astute, Rush... I hadn't picked that up but once Rush pointed it out, I see LOTS of conclusive evidence that it is without question a kit car. Godisgr, what kind of kit car is it?

So THAT'S why its parked in the ghetto! Missed the kit-car-ness completely! It looks like it has about the same size footprint as the Atom, whereas a proper Bull it absolutely enormous. Come on Vinay... what are these pieces of conclusive evidence - apart from the size I can't see what's wrong with it. The front edge of the door looks funny because it's taken from a weird angle methinks! And someone please tell me if it's an Atom V8!

1. Front of door as pointed out by Sneakerhead

2. Bottom edge of front fender. (should be flat)

3. It looks like the decal immediately behind the lower side scoop is missing.

4. wiper is missing (unusual for a Murcie!)

5. Front brake caliper is positioned wrong.

6. This is a big one - The A-Pillar is ALL wrong. Firstly you can see how the side mirror is molded into it like a kit car. It's also body color, instead of black.

7. the bottom line of the door should continue as a straight line right up to behind the front wheel.

I can see a few more.. but I think the point is made.

Compare it with Kasmac's side view of a yellow Murcielago Roadster.

Very conclusive Vin! So what's it based on? A Fiero, as usual?

avatar Vinay 5:11pm Monday December 14, 2009

I can't tell what chassis it was built on. Btw, aren't you in England, JamesAsh? How do you know what a Fiero is :-)

Very astute guys, it is(was) the only murcielago replicar based on tube chassis. It has a LS6 with 450hp. Sold to a guy in Australia. The neighborhood is not ghetto just my neighbor is. His house or his land is worth at least $1million. Not that unusal in Toronto.

I guess I spend too much time on car websites and not doing any work Vinay! There are a couple in England. I saw a reasonably convincing Fiero-based F355 in Brighton once - I think the scantily-clad ladies surrounding it were duped until I asked why his 'Ferrari' had a £30 Momo steering wheel! (The Ferrari baseball-cap was a giveaway too!) Don't think I've ever been shot such a cold look haha

there is another one in Toronto - all black and with Ontario plates. I would like to contact the owner; anyone know anything about who owns this car? If you are the owner reading this, please contact me at aminragesh@yahoo dot ca
