A little challenge for all you more-knowledgable-than-me-about-this-sort-of-thing types (everyone): The guys in the workshop here tell me this is a fully genuine restored AC Cobra and not a replica. I think it's probably a replica - the J-plate would mean it was made in 1992 (although the owner may just have bought a plate with his initials on it). The fit and finish of the interior is absolutely superb, as is the exterior (tight panel-gaps, lovely detailing) - which I would see as pretty suspect for a 60's British/American car. Also, I think originals only had one rollover hoop. As I said, I'm no marque expert - can anyone else tell from these admittedly-not-great pics? Oh, one more thing, it sounded like a proper Nascar!
