I was in Monterey for 2 weeks, so there were a free days in between Laguna Seca, various concourses, displays, auctions etc. So what do we do a free day? Go to a Porsche workshop/showroom/museum, of course! Canepa Design is in Scotts Valley, north of Monterey. The showroom & museum are open to the public, and there's a catwalk to give views of the workshop. Which I might add is as clean as a hospital. There were a few gaps in the museum because the cars were at Laguna Seca, but what was there was still stunning. The blue Sunoco Camaro is for sale for US$1,200,000 and the black gullwing is US$750,000. The 959s, F40, green 911 RSR, slopenose turbo cabriolet are for sale. The red 911 RSR is part of the museum. I recommend a visit if you're in the area. The people there are very welcoming.
