OS, I would love to hear your comments and thoughts after driving a GT-R for a day :)

Yeah, but I'd prefer a day in a more involving car : Exige, GT3, Atom, MX5, old 911, 355, etc. If I want the R35 experience I have a PS2 & GT4 at home. Ooooh, I can be such a bitch. The building in the background is 'my' hospital, it's also where I shot the old Holden, the Studebaker, the V8 M3 and I think a couple of others which I've forgotten.

You're so correct, styling is very personal, and we car nuts will never agree on what looks good and what doesn't. You've got me on Pinky Lai, that's a name I've not heard of before. I think the 997 is a big improvement over the 996, I thought the 996.1 was a backward step from the 993 and a big disappointment. Still sold well though.

I too think the 996 is probably the least pretty of all the 911s. And although I do think the GT-R looks good in pics, in the metal it looks huge... like, Panamera huge! Mind you, the 997 is no featherweight these days. A nice 993 Carrera 2 would do me, before all this PASM, EBD, PCCB, RUB, BISH...

Yeah, when you look at these two together, you realise just how large the GT-R really is. This 997 is a C2, so apart from the GT3, this is about as basic as they come. Nice.
