996 Porsche 911 GT2 - 1

I have a 996 C4S with a Techart Kit. It looks like a GT2 with several mods done to it. I was told I have the only one in CANADA that looks like mine. I was thinking of installing a IPD Intake Plenum cast "Y" type to repalce the factory plactic "T". I have two concerns will heat be an issue and will it be complatiable with the ECU. The increase in power I'm told is roughly 25 hp. Has anyone installed one of these lately and are you having any problems. Please let me know.
