I though it looked too aftermarket, too "tuner". Seeing this one up close & personal changed my attitude towards it. I really, really need one of these. What a car! Back in the 70's when I worked at what was then Sydney's only Porsche dealer, a 3 litre 930 was AUD$36,000, then an inconceivable amount of money for a car. Amongst all the GT3s, Carreras, race cars and so on was this very appealing GT2. It has carbon fibre doors, bonnet, lightweight windows, full cage, full race harnesses, megabrakes etc etc. I don't know what engine mods it has, but it would have to have well over 500bhp. Lots of grunt going through the rear wheels only...sounds OK to me. This one was at a Porsche Club race event at Sydney's Eastern Creek raceway. For the rear shot I used a medium telephoto focal length to shorten the perspective, spot metering to eliminate the light from outside the garage, and then dialled up the colour saturation on my mac. I quite like the high contrast result.
