3 historic Porsche racers - 1

Album details

Capture Date: Jan. 29, 2006
City: Sydney (NSW)

These three examples of automotive jewellery were running at the Mt Buller Sprint in Victoria, Australia in Jan 2006. They were brought out from the Porsche Museum for the event. There's an Abarth Carrera coupe, number 37 : an RS61 Spyder (2 litre flat 8 engine) and number 32 : an RSK Spyder (1.5 litre 4 cam 4 cylinder engine). It was a rare privilege to see and hear these running.

Wow. Those are some super rare Porsches. Absolutely beautiful. The Abarth Carrera coupe is just fantastic. Thank you for posting.

Further research has advised me that number 37 is in fact a 718 W-RS Spyder. 240bhp, 684 kilos. In 1961. What a weapon.

That number 37T is one slick sports car. I see Carrera GT dna in the back end styling.
