From the magazine & online photos that I'd seen of the GT2RS I wasn't really all that taken by it. I though it looked too aftermarket, too "tuner". Seeing this one up close & personal changed my attitude towards it. I really, really need one of these. What a car! Back in the 70's when I worked at what was then Sydney's only Porsche dealer, a 3 litre 930 was AUD$36,000, then an inconceivable amount of money for a car. Back then, to suggest that its successor in 2011 would cost over $600,000 would have you locked away in a rubber room.
