1976 Porsche 934 - 1

Album details

Capture Date: Mar. 11, 2007
City: Victoria (AUS)

The Porsche 934 was the Group 4 racing version of the road-going 930 turbo. The engine is a single turbo 480 bhp (358 kW) 3 litre flat six. In 1977, modifications took it to 550 bhp. It's surprisingly close in spec to the standard 930, down to having electric windows, as can be seen in the interior photo. The added-on fender extensions were screwed onto the standard 930 flares, making it a spectacular looking piece of kit. This one was running at the Phillip Island (Australia) historic meeting in March 2007.

Super photos. 550 bhp single Turbo lightweight Porsche 911 race car from that era must be insane on the track.
