Ford Torino based ute? Or whatever they're called in the States. Sort of a Ford el Camino. Maybe . . . . .

Love the last picture. I am pretty sure it's the iconic el camino, but after a couple quick searches I cannot find an el camino with the grill that this one has.. Either way the el camino is very well known vehicle (yet rare and almost extinct) in north america.

By an odd coincidence I rented Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino" last night. The car on the cover of the DVD has the same nose & grille as this ute. Also in profile this car looks just like the Oz Ford Falcon XA ute from about 1972. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Torino

I was lying in bed last night thinking about this - and what a sad admission that is - and the word 'Ranchero' popped into the vacant space between my ears. Would that be what this should be badged as?
